"Oppressed people cannot remain oppressed forever. The yearning for freedom eventually manifests itself." --Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Freedom and autonomy are core human needs. Yet many people find themselves in environments where they are oppressed. Others realize that leaving oppressive environments is just the start of a journey to learning who they are and what they want in life.
I work with clients seeking personal freedom by helping them discover themselves. My job is to help you discover your own answers. I am authentic, warm, and accepting in my work with clients and you can thrive in this type of environment.
I have experience with adults in multiple settings including community health and universities where I have served as a social work counselor. My doctorate is from University of Houston and I'm a second-generation Latina.

You may be struggling with setting boundaries, knowing who you are, and what you think. I can help you find personal freedom and have the relationships and life that you want.
Oppression can take many forms. Whether it be an oppressive family of origin, place of worship, or place of employment, it can be damaging to your mental health. You don’t need to continue to live with the consequences of these types of environments!
Clergy Sexual Abuse
Sexual abuse perpetrated by religious leaders is incredibly betraying because they can be a representation of God or of your spirituality. One of the most important ways to start your healing is to be believed. I will believe you and walk alongside as you heal from this.
