“I’m still learning to love the parts of myself nobody claps for." --Rudy Francisco
If you find yourself acting in ways you don’t like but can’t seem to help, we should meet. Sometimes it feels like a part of you takes over. After this part of you acts out, you feel regret and shame. You promise to change, and then it happens all over again. Sometimes those behaviors helped you get through a difficult childhood or circumstance, but are now getting in the way of your progress.
I work with clients seeking personal freedom by helping them discover themselves and all of their parts. My job is to help you discover your own answers. I’m authentic, warm, and accepting in my work with clients and you can thrive in this type of environment.
I have experience with adults in multiple settings including community health and universities where I have served as a social work counselor. I'm a daughter of immigrants and a professor of social work at University of Houston-Downtown.
If you think I may be of assistance to you, please contact me. We can set up a short phone call to see if we are a good fit to work together. Or you may choose to click the green button on this page for a short, free face-to-face consultation. I hope to meet you!
Codependency
You may be struggling with setting boundaries, knowing who you are, and what you think. I can help you find personal freedom and have the relationships and life that you want.
Workaholism
Working hard and attaining success is generally a good thing. But, if work and the need for professional achievement have taken over your life, other areas may start to suffer. You may already be living with the consequences of overwork. I can help you understand yourself better so you can live the life you really want.
Clergy Sexual Abuse
Sexual abuse perpetrated by religious leaders is incredibly betraying because they can be a representation of God or of your spirituality. One of the most important ways to start your healing is to be believed. I will believe you and walk alongside as you heal from this.
